Life is a blessing that has been bestowed upon all of us. But do we really cherish it? In these
Covid times we often crib but there is so much we can do to make life interesting. Do we live
in ecstasy or do we live through misery? Do we keep complaining about the lack in our life
and ignore the abundance in it? Well, whatever way you live your life, here are a few tips to
better its quality and start living happily.
1) Accept yourself: It is important that you accept yourself the way you are. This looks
like such a simple affair but in practice most of humanity goes through unthinkable
self-inflicted torture only because they refuse to accept themselves for what they
are. Look at yourself in the mirror and see that you are created in God’s own image,
Know that you are the product of the all- powerful and all magnificent source
energy. It could surely not go wrong. Just love yourself the way you are, if you are fat
or thin, tall or short, dark or fair, these are just physical appearances and do not
determine the quality of your life. Look beyond just physical appearances.
2) Discuss your emotions: We are all human; we experience a wide range of feelings
and emotions. It is important not to bottle up the negative feelings and talk them
out either to a loved one, a trusted friend or even a professional Life Coach. We
often bottle up our feelings and then resort to alcohol and drugs for failed solutions.
It is normal for all of us to experience all kinds of emotions and we need to deal with
them maturely.
3) Do not be afraid of failing: Fear of failure could keep you from moving forward. Do
not worry about the outcome of failure. Your biggest failure could just be due to a
lack of trying. The keystone to success and perfection is trying and failing. It is better
to fail trying than never try at all. Edison claimed that he had 1000 failures before he
actually succeeded with the incandescent bulb. He called them stepping stones. Go
after your goals and do not worry about failure, if you fail get up, reflect on the task
and in the light of the added experience continue with even more strength.
4) Make time for relationships: It is important to lead a balanced life and make time
for all of life’s relationships. Each of us is a son or daughter, a sibling, a spouse or a
parent to someone. Dont take your relationships for granted but instead spend
quality time in all of them. It may not be possible to do so every day, atleast do it on
the weekends.
5) Do not overdo the digital world: Yes, the digital world is fun and convenient. It
makes us feel like we are in touch with the world constantly. But do not overdo your
time with technology. It has its negative effects. Anything in excess is bad for your
system.
6) Listen to your desires: Live beyond your work and pay checks. Life is beautiful if you
live well. Follow your dreams and passions. If you want to learn a new sport or a
musical instrument go ahead and do it. Follow your heart’s desire. It is never too late
to do something new. Go ahead and write that book, cook that favourite dish,
indulge in gardening, pamper yourself, it is your life, you live it just once.
7) Remember that you too are mortal: Just like the rest of us you too have an expiry
date. We come to this world for a limited time. And this is what makes life even
more worth it. Do not wait for the ideal time to enjoy life. It is a journey enjoy life all
the way. Be happy with what you have and keep smiling always. Life’s good.
I have worked on an interesting program called Life’s Mastery Vision Script. It is specially
crafted for those who want to take control of their life. You get unimaginable benefits in the
shortest time and that too within the comfort of your home.
There are no difficult parts. It has all been broken down into an easy to implement program
and what’s best is that you don’t have to sit for hours in some stuffy conference room.
