While we indulge a lot in various activities we often find these important things
uncomfortable to do. Where able make it a point to add them to your daily routine. Read
the below paras attentively and take from them whatever good you can. There is a lot that
you could benefit from:
1) Worrying about not having a 5 year plan: ‘We are not super human beings and
cannot plan what needs to be accomplished 5 years down the line. Hence we need
not worry about planning so much ahead. It is best we focus one step at a time’. That
is how many of us think. But it can be very wrong. A five year plan or a long term
plan gives direction to our lives and is very important to have.
2) Being in solitude: We must always devote some amount of time for ourselves. We
are social beings but can best connect with our higher selves when alone. Solitude
can be quite scary for those that are not used to being alone or even to many who
are not used to spending time in silence. It is a habit that you must inculcate into
yourself slowly but surely. Take it one day at a time but be consistent.
3) Letting go off anxiety: Ill feelings make us both anxious and stressed out. Practice
letting go of them. Albeit it may seem only natural to hold a grudge against someone
who has not treated you respectfully, it is best to let go. If worried replace negative
thoughts with positive ones. There is nothing to be gained by worrying.
4) Relaxing: I know of so many people who think ‘relaxing is not for me!’ It is very
essential for you to take breaks. They are very healthy and will do you wonders.
Don’t feel guilty to treat yourself to a holiday or watch a movie. Such things serve to
balance your life.
5) Admitting when you are wrong: If you’ve made a mistake there is nothing better
than admitting it and moving on. The problem however is with the little devil we call
our EGO. We refuse to admit to our mistakes most of the time because we are
concerned about what others will think of us. We then needlessly cling on to a lot of
negativity which drags us down to no-where.
6) Being willing to receive: If you are one of those that believes that good is not for you
or that abundance is only for the rich and not for you then you need to work on your
thinking. Keep an open mind and be open to receive abundance at all points of time.
Look at the world and see that there is abundance all around you. Know and believe
that you are a part of the same abundant world.
Now that you have read these 6 points don’t to let go off the required activities and put
them off for a later date. These minor course corrections when ignored affect our lives
negatively but when implemented can do you a world of good.
